Scene Around – At the KSDS Alumni Talks December 21, 2017

What do Krieger Schechter alumni look like in a TED Talk forum, talking about their work and the impact of KSDS on their lives?

They look like incredibly well rounded , articulate young adults, involved in a variety of professions and endeavors, each bringing passion and strong capabilities to their work. Those who were present to witness and hear them speak, marveled at the difference many of them are making in the world and how appreciative they all were of all they had gained during their Schechter years. They could articulate and recognize how they benefited from the Derech Eretz and Tikkun Olam programs and Judaic teachings to gain a strong moral compass, how the excellent writing program and public speaking skills they learned, prepared them for life, how the encouragement to question, enabled them to become critical thinkers and much more.

Read about the MC Jake Ferentz (01), who’s KSDS stand up routine had everyone in stitches and the eight speakers.
