Health Matters is being coordinated by KSDS alum parent, Sarah Shapiro and being held on Sunday, October 29th from 9:15 am to 12:30 pm. at Beth Israel Congregation. The event will feature a keynote presentation on preventing infection, breakout sessions on a variety of health topics, and a resource fair with flu shots and valuable information from over 20 physical and mental health organizations.
This event is free and open to the community – more details here.

Come experience a 30-minute guided meditation “sit” with Schechter alumni parent Steve Siegel. These sits are appropriate for beginners and experienced meditators, and will allow you to step out of the busyness of your life and experience the benefits of being present in the moment and free of self-judgment.
